Xylophone

Ben playing the xylophone with the Hexter kindergarten for the February PTA meeting.
I didn't bring my zoom lense that nite.

The Biggest Snowfall in the history of Dallas Pt.3

Out in it the next morning.

Grandpa builds a snowman on the deck.

Plenty more snow.

Can't find the hole in the bushes to the alley!

Trace's tree in the back.

Some of the broken limbs.

Boogie board makes a good snowball shield.

The Biggest Snowfall in the history of Dallas Pt.2

The next morning. On the deck.

The bushes were touching the ground.

The playground.

Backyard.

The arbor over the deck.

Some of the limbs down in the front.

Man, that's a bunch of snow!

The creek.

The Biggest Snowfall in the history of Dallas Pt.1

OK, this is the one that happened February 11-12 ish. It's apparently the largest recorded snowfall ever for Dallas. We got about a foot at our house. Very cool!

Snowman building. They never last. They get pushed over and stomped.

There he is for now.

I wanna go out too!

There ya go!

Cool! Very Cool!

Yeah, they still had school on the first day. It was Friday.

Bad day to get crossing guard duty.

Pack 862's Pinewood Derby 2010

Hamming it up before the races.

That's Trace's car. The green one on the end.

His car won every heat it was in. Not even close. Not real sure where he finished overall because the final results were all screwed up.

Trace in the final Flag ceremony.

Do I always look that haggard?!

Kasey had fun too.

After the races at Tony's Pizza & Pasta!

Basketball '10

Trace's team was the Fireballs.

They got really good this year and seemed to start to figure out the game.

Benjamin was on the Celtics

They were SO much better than I ever expected. He was one of the top scorers and got the game winning basket in the last game. They went undefeated!
